City initiates the CFD study and begins analyzing the area’s needs and potential projects.

April 2024

First round of community town halls.

Early 2026

Property owners receive ballots and vote on the CFD. If it passes, the CFD will be ratified by City Council at a future meeting.

July 2026

If approved, special tax lien is recorded against parcels in the CFD area.

August 2026

The special tax is added to the property tax bill by the County Controller.

December 2026

First installment due.

April 2027

Second installment due.
